Monster Jam Crypto.com Arena Sport reviews
Another disappointing Chevelle performance!
After Midnight Project did a pretty good job, though the acoustics were totally off at the National during their set. They did make up for it by rocking out with two really good songs towards the end. I have to give props to the opening bands. Halestorm rocked the house as usual. The drummer is absolutely awesome, one of the best I have seen in a long time.
The headliner, Monster Jam, appeared totally unenthusiastic. The lead singer had to take multiple breaks in between songs. It appeared as though he was losing his voice during the sets. His guitar playing suffered too, as he was out of tune during many of the songs and he appeared to have some difficulty in coordinating his guitar-playing with his singing. Nonetheless, he did a pretty good job of playing the hit "Jars", more than I can say for the rest of the set.
Not the first time Monster Jam has disappointed. They might need to take some pointers from bands like Shinedown who rock the house and give you your money's worth each and every time. Despite the show, I still enjoy Monster Jam's music. They may just need to stay in the studio from now on. Monster Jam has really suffered in their live performances recently. Mediocre at best, the openers were the stars of the show this time.
